1 NC Voting Begins Today! 10/14

NC VoteEarly Voting starts today and lasts through October 30th.

EARLY VOTING: See where to early vote today
ELECTION DAY: Where to go on election day

Vote today!

Who are these candidates you should vote for? We are encouraging individuals to research for themselves who they should vote for. To find out your district's politicians, go to the State Board of Elections, enter your information, and you’ll see a link that says “My Districts” in bold blue font. Once you have that information, google “NC _____” (for whatever district you are seeking). Alternatively, you can look on the state GOP website, the state Libertarian party website, the Democratic party website, as a jumping off point.

We urge you to think about the issues that matter most to you and find candidates that support those same beliefs. Don't just vote for a straight party like your father and grandfather may have done. Political parties are too often treated with the loyalty like you would see given to a sports team but the issues, taxes, our schools, & NC jobs matter much more than staying loyal to a party. We won't tell you who to vote for but we want you to know who and what you are voting for this election.

0 Free Chick-fil-A Meal on Cow Appreciation Day July 9, 2010

Free Chick-fil-a Cow Appreciation Day

The Chick-fil-A cows are by far, one of my favorite marketing campaigns of all time. Cute & comical in one.

On July 9, 2010, you can show your love for Chick-fil-A by participating in their Cow Appreciation Day. When you come to Chick-fil-A dressed as a cow from head to toe, you’ll receive a free combo meal. Only want to wear a cow headband or a cow-printed hat, shirt or purse? That’ll get you a free entree. Your calves (the kids, not your legs), can join in the fun too, & get a free kid's meal.

If the idea of a cow costume has you puzzed you can download a free costume starter kit. Be sure and save your costume for next year because this is the 6th year for this popular promotion, and I doubt it’s going anywhere anytime soon.
